Hudson Tool & Die Company founded in Hudson County, New Jersey by Charles Batka

1969

Second facility opened in Ormond Beach, Florida

1984

Hudson Tool & Die Co., Inc. purchased by JSJ Corporation of Grand Haven, Michigan, a privately held U.S. corporation

1991

Operations consolidated to the facility in Florida; plant in New Jersey closed

1996

Quality Management System received ISO 9001:2000 certification

2007

Name change – Hudson Tool & Die Co., Inc. began doing business as Hudson Technologies

2007

Converted to an environmentally-sound aqueous cleaning system, eliminating trichloroethylene (TCE) and chlorinated lubricants from the manufacturing process

2008

Named Manufacturer of the Year by Volusia Manufacturers Association

2009

Winner of two Best Practice Awards presented by Volusia Manufacturers Association (VMA) – “Go Green” and “Employee Wellness Program”. Received ISO 9001:2008 certification.

2010

ISO 13485:2003 certification received. City of Ormond Beach presents Hudson Technologies with the Retention/Expansion Project Award. Celebrated 70-year anniversary.

2011

Environmental Management System earned ISO 14001:2004 certification

2012

Paul Clare, retired, inducted into the VMA Hall of Fame and presented with the MANNY Award for life-long achievement in manufacturing. President Mark Andrews installed as 2013 VMA Chairman.

2013

Bret Schmitz named president of Hudson Technologies, effective August 1, 2013

2015

Hudson Technologies celebrated its 75th Anniversary

2018

Over $2 million dollars spent on capital improvements including 3 presses and robotic automation equipment.

2019

Expanded diaphragm manufacturing capabilities in Tianjin, China.

2020

• Hudson celebrated its 80th anniversary.
• Mike Prins named president of Hudson Technologies, effective September 2020.
• Considered an essential business, Hudson maintained production throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
