As a small medical device company developing implantable technologies, we engaged Hudson Technologies to aid us in transitioning from machined prototype metallic device housings that were suitable for low volume development to titanium formed metal device housings that could be scaled to production volumes. From the moment we put the project out to quote, Hudson provided excellent customer support and walked us through every aspect of the project so we knew exactly what to expect. After embarking on the project, the team at Hudson provided valuable feedback on our concept level CAD drawings, aiding us in making key decisions regarding the final housing design. Hudson worked with us to meet our tight tolerances and stringent inspection requirements while maintaining a robust and manufacturable design. They were able to provide us with 3D printed samples of our design concepts for review and approval and provided first article samples as the first prototypes were formed from the freshly machined production tooling. At every step of the way they maintained a professionalism and attention to detail that is rarely found in contract manufacturers. They have truly become an extension of our in-house team and a valued subcomponent vendor. The part development and first article production was completed on budget and on time. We have placed multiple production orders that have all been smoothly fulfilled. It has been a pleasure working with Hudson Technologies from early stage concepts through production orders and I look forward to our continued and valued business relationship.
