DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – (Dec. 11, 2014) – Hudson Technologies was recognized by the Florida TRADE Consortium at Daytona State College for its support and commitment to the Florida TRADE Consortium and to Florida TRADE students.

The award was presented to Hudson Technologies for being one of two area manufacturers that hired five or more Florida TRADE students in 2014.

Hudson Technologies President Bret Schmitz accepted the award from Frank Mercer, with Daytona State College, at the VMA 34th Annual Awards Banquet held on Dec. 11 at the Daytona Beach International Speedway.

ABOUT FLORIDA TRADE CONSORTIUM

The Florida TRADE Consortium is a partnership of twelve Florida state and community colleges. The group has been awarded a $15 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to develop and implement technical training programs and services for displaced and unemployed workers, incumbent workers, students and returning veterans that will lead to employment in today’s high-tech manufacturing market.
